Hey, my name is Caro and I am currently living in Pennsylvania. I moved here in November 2019 and want to share my adventures on this side of the planet. I’m originally from Germany and have lived most of my life there. I moved to London for 4 years to pursue my PhD, which ultimately got me to where I live now.
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher, which means that I liked research and academia during my doctoral studies so much that I decided to continue on that path. This also gave me the opportunity to move halfway around the globe and explore the American culture more than just a holiday trip would have allowed for. Living through a pandemic in a country you just moved to wasn’t always easy but I got through it thanks to a lot of day trips in the beautiful state of Pennsylvania. Now that I am fully vaccinated I want to explore this country more and share my adventures with all of you. I might also through in the occasional weird thought I have but that depends on how much I actually like having and maintaining a blog.
